Brendan O'Carroll will be the Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick's Day Parade this year in Dublin.
The announcement was made today, and he was on hand (with a few kids dressed in tribute to his most famous character, Mrs. Brown) to unveil that they would be referring to him as D'Grand Marhsall, of course.

The festivities will start on March 14th, but the parade itself will take place on Paddy's Day. There will be a theme to the parade and the celebrations as whole which has yet to be announced.

Judging by the pictures, he may well be in character on the day as he leads the parade...or at least we hope he will.
