There’s no love lost here.
In the middle of tweeting about issues of national importance like the JFK files and an opioid epidemic, The Donald decided to take time out of his day (sure what else would he be doing?) to take a shot at the film makers recent Broadway show ‘The Terms of my Surrender’.
Here’s what he had to say-
While not at all presidential I must point out that the Sloppy Michael Moore Show on Broadway was a TOTAL BOMB and was forced to close. Sad!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 28, 2017
The only problem here is that what Trump said about the show isn’t exactly true (shock). Broadway website Playbill were quick to point out a few inaccuracies with this statement-
"Moore’s show began performances July 28 at the Belasco Theatre, where it opened officially August 10. It was reported in May—when the show was announced—that it would play a 12-week limited engagement. While the show was not a box-office front-runner (grossing less than half of its potential most weeks and drawing in a capacity hovering in the mid 70 percentile), it did play its fully scheduled run."
It wasn’t long before Moore replied with a few digs of his own. Here's a selection-
1) You must have my smash hit of a Broadway show confused with your presidency-- which IS a total bomb and WILL indeed close early. NOT SAD https://t.co/URgXgzWWVk

He didn't stop there-
6) They say Twitter "distracts" you from your presidency. But Twitter IS YOUR PRESIDENCY! It's all you know how to do. #LOSER!

Ooofff.
11) For now, at least, I know I still have one fan in the White House (thx for your unwavering support, Jared!) pic.twitter.com/mTwLxW4KgR

That last one may sting a little.
The solution? Someone give Dana White a call, let’s get these two in the octagon.
