This is simply glorious

If your Monday is in need of a pick-me-up, look no further.

This weekend there was a a special virtual concert that paid tribute to Stephen Sondheim on his 90th birthday. Among the stars present were Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski and Audra McDonald. Indeed, they arguably stole the show.

Josh Groban, Nathan Lane, Neil Patrick Harris and Jake Gyllenhaal were other performers honouring the legendary composer and lyricist.

The starry special, called 'Take Me To The World', featured performances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kelli O’Hara, Lea Salonga, Patti LuPone and Bernadette Peters among many others.

Peters closed the show beautifully with 'No One Is Alone'. But it's Streep, Baranski and McDonald's rendition of 'Ladies Who Lunch' that everyone's talking about.

They crooned the number while sipping wine and cocktails in their bathrobes.

Check it out.
