Turns out foie gras is faux pas for Prince Charles. PETA have rewarded the Prince of Wales' stance against the production of the food by naming a rescued goose after him. Three geese were rescued from a foie gras farm in France and in honour of his "admirable stand" against the product, which is made by force feeding ducks and geese until their livers swell, the animal rights organisation thought it appropriate to name one of the rescuees after the prince. "Prince Charles" will be joined in an animal sanctuary by "Sir Roger", another rescued goose named after PETA ambassador and former 007 Roger Moore. Hopefully goose Sir Roger is more license to quill than licensed to kill. Plus he has a killer opening with the lady geese. "The name's Pond, James Pond".
We'll see ourselves out.
