It's not like Madonna to overhype something, nay throttle it within an inch of its existence (before flashing her vadge at it) when she has something to promote.

Last week, I personally failed to report on this story about Madonna being presented by a bunch of flowers by a "fan" at the Venice Film Festival, largely because it was pants. After accepting said flowers, Madonna was heard on camera saying "I absolutely loathe Hydrangeas." That's fair enough, they resemble broccoli and have a name that requires energy to pronounce (and spell), but the press went wild for the story - just like she knew they would.

Now, just as she's continuing to peddle her second stab at directing at the Toronto Film Festival, she's released this 1920s inspired subtitled YouTube video of her apologising to a bunch of hydrangeas, while vigorously molesting them. She then throws them on the ground proclaiming "I'm left with the fact that I still hate hydrangeas! and I will always hate them. It's a free country! So f**k you, I like roses!!"

Some news outlets are now reporting that this is yet another cruel snub for the "fan" who presented Madonna with the bunch of broccoli in the first place. Some day, cynicism will seep into their souls, and they'll cop on that the "fan" was clearly hired...
