After all the jokes, all the parodies, and a rather bizarre explanation about hurting his teeth, Luis Suarez has finally issued an apology for his latest biting incident.

There has been a lot of talk in recent days about what Luis Suarez was doing when he bit Giorgio Chiellini and his original statement afterwards which presented a very strange series of events involving him falling over and knocking his teeth into the shoulder of the Italian.

After a bit of sober reflection, Luis has decided that he would make a full and frank apology, which he tweeted out this evening on his official account.

Whether he moves from Liverpool this summer or not, he's certainly doing his best to try and smooth the path for any prospective new employers, not to mention his current ones, who probably aren't too pleased with him picking up another massive ban.
