More often than not, I stumble upon a story that's clearly made up. Today, according to an "excusive" in The Mirror, newly lesbianised Lindsay Lohan has been phone stalking Olympian gold medalist Michael Phelps for the past two weeks.
A source said: "At first he thought it was a joke when she got in touch. But she's since been phoning and texting constantly. It's become a running joke in his camp. Lindsay has been trying to meet up with him. They're both going to the MTV Video Music Awards next month so they'll be sure to see each other properly then. Phelps is certainly flattered by all the attention but it's not clear how seriously he's taking it all." According to another source, Michael has been "showing pals some of her texts and saying: 'It's Lindsay. It's Lindsay'."
Lindsay doesn't have time to bombard anyone via the phone; all her time is consumed by shopping with Samantha Ronson and giving out about her da... Might there be another random "Lindsay" attending the VMAs next month? I think there might.
