I knew this day would one day come. That doesn't make it any easier.
Konnie Huq is pregnant with my (fantasy) husband's child, a boy, and he is due next Easter.
A friend said: "Konnie and Charlie (Brooker. My Charlie Brooker) are over the moon. It is just what they wanted and all their family are thrilled."
Naturally enough, Huq has wanted to start a family since marrying Charlie in Las Vegas last year (as have I). But the 36-year-old said her role on The Xtra Factor forced her to put her plans on hold.
That and I bet Charlie wasn't ready. Then again, when is anyone really ready?
Bitterness and rampant delusions aside, congratulations to them both.
