You can't do anything out of the ordinary nowadays without someone pulling you up on it - try telling Piers Morgan that.
007 himself, Daniel Craig, was recently spotted carrying his and actress wife Rachel Weisz's newest baby daughter in a baby carrier (or the American term, papoose). Innocent enough, you would think - but not to 'GMB' presenter Morgan it wasn't. Morgan tweeted a negative response to seeing the picture, saying "Oh 007... not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond":

It's fair to say that Morgan's remark did not go down well with some people online. Morgan's been batting away at the backlash aimed at him ever since he sent the tweet out yesterday, and people are laying into him. Fathers have started tweeting pictures of themselves (and Luke Skywalker) carrying their babies in papooses (or should that be papeese?), in support of Craig and being comfortable with their masculinity:
Imagine believing carrying your own baby in public is emasculating https://t.co/DE30dCj8vb

This is the best spontaneous RT thread ever, I am seeing so many male followers’ beaming faces for the first time, next to squishy baby faces!

Always keen to weigh in with his own opinions on Twitter, Chris Evans even zinged Morgan about #papoosegate, writing "You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child. Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside":

Morgan has tried his hardest to justify his view on the matter, but he just sounds a bit like a backwards middle-aged man...:
He’s not carrying it, that’s my point. He’s using an emasculating papoose.
James Bond would never use a papoose to carry his babies. https://t.co/6aZZSFUEjy— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 15, 2018
Or they’ve been ordered to by their wives. https://t.co/MIiAN3Ny9i

Et tu, Stig? Come on mate, put the papoose away & carry your baby properly. Like a caveman. https://t.co/IUEhaJfcm4

Carrying a baby is harder work, but worth it for the unashamedly masculine joy of NOT wearing a papoose. https://t.co/3liJ4CZJGG

Well whatever your opinion on #papoosegate is, at least we learned a valuable lesson today - what the hell a papoose is:
