The pair haven't let their exit from the competition quash their happiness
Fresh from his exit from the 'Dancing On Ice' competition over the weekend, ex-Republic of Ireland footballer Kevin Kilbane has reason to celebrate after proposing to his on-screen partner Brianne Delcourt.
The skating pair first met on the set of the ITV dancing show back in September, and have enjoyed a close relationship with each-other practicing for the live shows. Following the live shows kicking off in January, they confirmed that they were also all loved up.
Speaking on 'Lorraine' last week, Kevin admitted that "everything happened very quickly" for the pair, and that he knew he had fallen for the professional American dancer "straight away".
In a recent upload on her Instagram account Wednesday morning, Brianne posted two videos which were recorded by onlookers while Kevin got down on one knee. However, before doing the traditional method of proposing, Kevin sang a couple of lines from well-known Dubliners' song 'Grace'.
He sang: "With all my love, I place this wedding ring upon your finger / There won't be time to share our love for we must say good-bye."
As you can see, Brianne was caught in a bit of a shock, exclaiming to Kevin Kilbane: "Are you f***ing serious?".
Gathering herself together, she managed to take a photo with her new fiancé, sparkler and all. She captioned the photo with: "He was worth the wait. Kev, you’ve made me the happiest girl in the world. You’re my fairytale ending."
