It wasn't a 'meeting' per say, it was more Justin trying to get on down with a Rolling Stone and being promptly put back in his box by the legend that is Keith Richards.

According to Us Weekly - who have made a cracking Romancing the Stone reference - this is what happened when Bieber attempted to "bro down" with Richards over New Years:  "Bieber, 20, hit up a tiny beach bar on the luxe Parrot Cay island in Turks and Caicos, where "there was an old guy throwing back drinks who said, 'Who the f--k are you?'" one source recalls. In response, the All Around the World pop star shot back, "I don't know, who the f--k are you?'" WOW.

Instead of being outraged/nonplussed by this inspired retort, apparently Keith said: "'You're a man. I respect that,' then walked away," the source tells Us. It wasn't until a few minutes later, when "another old guy and came over and told Justin, 'Keith Richards wants to have a drink with you,'" that the 71-year-old rock legend's identity was revealed."

He probably had to Google him. Despite the rocky start, Justin had a drink with the herd of "old men", however, he did try to "bro down" with Keith too much, which resulted in the following comment: "Let's get one thing straight. You're a wannabe."

The pair then exchanged numbers and are now friends for life. True story.
