It's been quite the week for 'rent-a-gob' Katie Hopkins; not only did she get owned by Gothic building enthusiast Danny Dyer (and, yes, we could source another picture of Hopkins but we think this one captures her essence), now her life has been fulfilled beyond her wildest dreams after being described as a "British Twitter Troll" by Us Weekly.
How did her fame reach such dizzying heights? Katie had this to spit about singer Kelly Clarkson during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show last week:
"Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton." When Clarkson's fans responded that she's recently given birth, Hopkins (who has children herself) continued merrily with: "Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves" - before presumably rolling around a bed filled with bank notes, cackling wildly.
Kelly responded by putting the Skeksis firmly back in her bitter box with the following statement to Heat Magazine...
"She's tweeted something nasty about me? That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will. I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family - I don't seek out any other acceptance."
And that's exactly why Hopkins felt the need to tweet about Clarkson - because she seemed too darn happy on Graham Norton (that and because she knew it would get her traction Stateside). Just like Danny Dyer was just too damn happy getting engaged. It's not rocket science, it's atypical behaviour of a bully. Which we should just all stop talking about - if only she wasn't amazing click fodder.
