It was a night of celebrations on Saturday when Dublin's new club Sahara Bar & Venue played host to sporting legend Jonny Wilkinson and Team Toulon. The lads spent the evening reveling in their victory over Clermont at the Heineken Cup earlier that day. If there were any doubts about the French's ability to party, they were well and truly put to bed. Well, not the men, the men weren't actually put to bed... by any Irish women... or were they? If you've got scoop you know what you need to do; share it!
The highlight of the night was the arrival of world renowned Rugby player (and general hottie) Jonny Wilkinson, with fans chanting his name as the team at Sahara whisked him inside to enjoy the party. Other famous Toulon faces that were in attendance were Rocky Elsom, Bakkies Botha, Nick Kennedy, Matthew Giteau, David Smith, Sebastian Tillous - Borde to name but a few. Playing hard during the day and partying even harder at Sahara celebrating their win that night, the lads got up to all sorts, among which drinking from the Heineken Cup itself was included.
They were also very generous to a few very lucky fans, who held up the cup to toast Toulon and celebrate a great victory with their team and heroes. We'll leave it your imagination as to what else they got up to.
Dublin's Sahara Bar & Venue is run by the very lovely (and possibly the most attractive lady in Dublin) Carol Byrne. You'll find her enticing all manner of sporting greats into Sahara of a Friday or Saturday night, where cocktails are served not in your bog standard glass, but in teapots. To keep up with Carol and all the latest Sahara goings on, give her an oul follow on the Twitter machine. @CarolB10.
