'Grease', the iconic musical that everyone loves starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, turns 40 years old this year and Travolta was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to mark the occasion.
The film is full of iconic moves in numbers such as âGreased Lightningâ and âYouâre the One That I Wantâ (the director of âGreaseâ, Randal Kleiser, recently provided a fascinating breakdown of that fabulous finale).
In relation to the latter, Travolta explained to Kimmel how he helped out with the choreography.
âLike in Pulp Fiction, I grew up with all these novelty dances,â he said. âSo in Grease they needed a step for âYouâre the One That I Wantâ at the end. So I said, âWell, we used to do the four corners, why donât we do that?â So the choreographer said, âShow it to me, and I did.ââ
The actor then showed the talk show host how to do the move.

John Travolta recently took to the stage with the Foo Fighters for an impromptu cover of âYou're The One That I Wantâ.
He has also ambiguously weighed in on that whole âSandy is actually dead in Greaseâ theory.
At the moment, he is promoting his new film âGottiâ, which he was at the Cannes Film Festival last month to publicise.
Travolta is also playing a crazed stalker in the film âMooseâ, directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.
