The 'Friends' actress made the comments in a new interview

Being famous is all well and good - but there's always a looming fear that the next thing you say may well signal the end of your career.

Cancel culture has become all-pervasive in recent years, occasionally not without merit - but one person who has had enough of the phenomenon is Jennifer Aniston.

Aniston, as you may recall, recently fell foul of the online mob when she became entangled in a strange story regarding Jamie Foxx and accusations of antisemitism.

Now, in a new interview with the Wall Street Journal, the 'Friends' actress has said that she is "so over cancel culture".

She added: "I probably just got canceled by saying that. I just don’t understand what it means.… Is there no redemption? I don’t know. I don’t put everybody in the Harvey Weinstein basket."

Of her dealings with the disgraced producer - who is currently serving 39 years in prison for rape and sexual assault - she said "He’s not a guy, you’re like, ‘God, I can’t wait to hang out with Harvey.’ Never. You were actually like, ‘Oh, God, OK, suck it up.’ I remember actually, he came to visit me on a movie to pitch me a movie. And I do remember consciously having a person stay in my trailer."
