If you, like us, have been glued to the Serial podcast over the last few months, you'll be aware that Jay Wilds' testimony played a crucial part in the case of Adnan Syed, who was convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee in 1999.
Wilds refused to participate in the making of Serial despite host Sarah Koenig's best efforts - but after coming under increased pressure from the public in recent weeks, Wilds has given his first interview since the trial to website The Intercept.
Wilds, a former classmate of Syed and Min Lee speaks of how he has been "unfairly depicted" in the podcast and provides a new detailed timeline of the events of the day in question.
