The former 'Carpool Karaoke' host left his role on 'The Late Late Show' earlier this year
If you thought you'd seen the last of James Corden, think again.
Well, you haven't heard the last of him, at least - as the former 'Gavin and Stacey' star, who hosted US talk show 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' from 2015 to 2023, has a new weekly show in the works.
Corden has signed a deal with Sirius XM - home to the likes of Howard Stern, Conan O'Brien, Andy Cohen and more - and will kick off his new interview-based podcast 'This Life of Mine with James Corden' next year.
He left 'The Late Late Show' in April of this year, saying that he wanted to spend more time with his wife and children.
The weekly show will "feature in-depth conversations with the world’s biggest stars, discussing the people, places, moments, and memories that made them who they are today."
Corden said it was a "dream to have a space to engage in deep conversations with the people whose work and talent I greatly admire."
More details are expected to be revealed at a Sirius XM event tomorrow, but some have speculated that it will follow a similar formula to Desert Island Discs, with guests sharing "untold stories" from their lives, as well as discussing their favourite music, film and books.
The podcast will only be available to subscribers of Sirius XM, however.
