It was a long and turbulent ride for Demi Moore. Upon separating from her husband, 15 years her junior, Demi endured countless cheating rumours, rehab stints, dramatic weight loss, not to mention all of the concerned friends, a two year court battle and somewhat unhelpful stories hoping that Demi Moore wouldn't lose her shit entirely in this long and arduous process. Ashton Kutcher, on the other hand, made his bed, snuggled down in it, got over it, fell madly in love with Mila Kunis, landed a pretty sweet deal on Two and a Half Men, and never looked back. Many who scorned Ashton for his distinct lack of respect towards Demi, especially with regard to the pre-split affair, hoped to see him suffer a little more.

Now though, Demi can put it all behind her and turn over a new leaf; the divorce is finally finalised, the papers have been signed. What do we expect will happen now? Well paying no heed to the countless celebrity couples falling to pieces around them, we expect Ashton will put a ring on Mila's finger. Our advice? Don't do it. If Will Smith and Jada can't make it, nor Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom, or Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas, then you guys probably won't either. Sad, but true. Also, once a cheater always a cheater, Ashton will probably get lured in by some new shiny toy once Mila's novelty wears off. Though I predict, if there any lads reading this, they'll be appalled to read that I could even suggest Mila had a novelty that could ever wear off. As for Demi? Well she'll probably find a whole new lease of life, get her mojo back, and maybe stay away from the younger men.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: 'Ashton and Demi have finally signed their divorce agreement. They are about to file paperwork with the court that will formally end their marriage.'

Ashton, 35, and Demi, 50, have been at odds over their finances since their split, with the 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' actress requesting spousal support from her ex-husband, who has become one of the highest paid actors on TV since joining 'Two and a Half Men' in 2011.

Demi also felt she was entitled to a cut from Ashton's earnings from investment firm Grade-A, which is reportedly worth $100 million.

The actor and his business partners Guy Oseary and billionaire Ron Burkle have made a series of profitable investments in start-up technology companies through the firm, netting Ashton $20 million as he owns 20 per cent of Grade-A.

It was previously reported Demi sought half of his earnings, but Ashton contended his newfound fortune wasn't communal as he made the millions after his split from his wife of six years.

It now appears both sides have agreed on a settlement.

An insider said: 'There had been lengthy negotiations between lawyers for both sides about the financial settlement - in particular, how much he owed her from their marriage. They have finally come to an agreement that was acceptable to all sides.'

Demi and Ashton began dating in 2003 and wed two years later in 2005.

Sad that when love goes out the window, it all comes down to money.
