A passenger on an Irish Rail train overheard a young man on the same carriage as her having a conversation during her journey, and she turned to Twitter to try and reach him with a special message.
The passenger is also a teacher, and she was on the train from Dublin to Cork at 4.00pm yesterday. During her journey, she overheard a young man who got into a conversation with an elderly couple about everything and anything, and she thought he was worthy of praise.
Taking to Twitter, she sent a small note stating that he was a real credit to his generation, most of whom are depicted as being totally self-involved, and thought that he was brave to speak out about his mental health and stress in the run up to the Leaving Cert.

Irish Rail also shared the message, and are hoping that the attention that it has gotten will eventually mean that the young man in question gets to see it.
