The old phrase is that you are what you eat, and according to a tell-all book by former Trump henchman staffer Corey Lewandowski, the sitting US President had a steady diet of salty, greasy food.
According to Lewandowski, Trump's meal of choice from Maccy-Ds was "two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish and a chocolate malted," and that he ate this on a fairly regular basis. On top of this, Trump Force One - the in-house name for Trump's personal plane - was stacked to the brim with "potato chips, pretzels, and many packages of Oreos because Trump, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package," according to the Washington Post.
The book also describes how there were four main food groups on the plane - McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke - and that Trump's meals were as "as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency." Although Trump himself claims he weighs around 236 pounds, experts agree that his weight is well above this and that his likely BMI would place him in the overweight category.
Whether or not any of his diet plays a part in him being a lunatic seems unclear, but one thing's for certain - eating all this pretty regularly can't be doing him or his gold-plated toilet any favours.
