Back in the fifth century, St. Bridget was apparently complaining to St. Patrick about women having to wait for men to propose in order to get married.
St. Patrick had a think about this (sound of him) and decided that women should be allowed to pop the question, but only on a leap year, which is apparently how the Irish tradition of women proposing to men on February 29th began.
If you’re interested in popping the question to your other half in 2016 and you’d like to do it in a really spectacular way, on camera, Raic Productions want to hear from you. You’ll be handsomely rewarded for your bravery!
You’ve found ‘The One’. The man of your dreams. The yin to your yang. Your lobster!
You’ve talked about getting hitched but he hasn’t popped the question yet. Maybe he’s saving for the ring. Maybe you’re saving for a deposit on a house first. Maybe he’s just waiting for the right time.
But you know what, there’s no such thing as the right time. And 2016 is a leap year, so why not take matters into your own hands and just make it happen?
Just record a 30 sec video of yourself, on your phone, your iPad, or whatever way works for you, tell us all about the love of your life, how long you’ve been together and why you’ve decided to propose to them, and let's see if we can help make your dreams come true!
Send it on to taketheleap@raicproductions.com along with your name, address and contact number and they’ll be in touch! And don’t worry, whatever you send will be treated with absolute confidentiality.
