YOU SHALL NOT GET COVID-19
The ray of sunshine that is Sir Ian McKellen is one of the first celebrities to be given the vaccine against COVID-19 in the UK.
The NHS in the UK has been rolling out the first Pfizer/BioNTech for the past week and a half, with those over the age of 80 the first in line. And now the 'Lord of the Rings' and 'X-Men' actor Sir Ian McKellen has also received the vaccine, stating that he feels "euphoric" after his dose.
After having his first of two doses of the vaccine, McKellen said he would have "no hesitation in recommending it to anyone". He later went on to praise the NHS, saying he wishes to "give them all a big hug".
“It’s a very special day, I feel euphoric. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I feel very lucky to have had the vaccine.”
