While we may have spent yesterday rolling our eyes at the tourists thronging the country with their giant green hats and consuming enough booze to do the rest of us for a month (or a week maybe, if it's around Christmas), the rest of the world was being patriotic on our behalf and took part in Tourism Ireland's #GlobalGreening event, turning iconic buildings around the world a healthy shade of emerald.
No one tell them that St. Patrick actually wore blue though, okay?
