"Where were you when The Queen died?" will probably be the big question that'll be brought up countless times in the future.
The Queen passed away yesterday evening, September 8, 2022 at the age of 96.
After 15 Prime Ministers and 70 years on the throne, Elizabeth II died peacefully in Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Her son, Charles, is now King Charles III, at the age of 73. His wife Camilla will now become Queen Consort Camilla.
King Charles said in a statement: "The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.
"We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world."

Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones wrote about "watching her wedding highlights on TV" as a child.
Holly Willoughby wrote "you never let us down".
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne paid tribute to "our greatest Queen".

Helen Mirren, who played the late monarch in the historical film 'The Queen', wrote that she "was the epitome of nobility".
Paddington Bear also joined in sharing his condolences. The pair famously shared the screen for a cute collaboration for the Platinum celebrations earlier this year.

New UK Prime Minister Liz Truss wrote about how the UK "has grown and flourished under her reign".
