A passenger at New York's LaGuardia airport was shocked earlier today when the safety authorities came up to her to holding her pet chihuahua that she thought was safely at home.Â
The passenger had no idea that the dog had climbed into her suitcase when she was packing it, and checked the luggage in for her flight. TSA spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein tweeted out an image of the dog and the suitcase, which had been screened in a security check, which was when they found the furry stowaway.Â

Farbstein also confirmed that the passenger "was shocked when we told her we had her dog", and that it had gotten into the case without her knowing.

So, now you know why they ask if you packed the bag yourself...you can't trust your pet chihuahua to do it for you.Â
