For weeks now poor Cheryl has been stuck in her Surrey mansion (not a bad place to be confined to) since falling ill with the deadly illness that is Malaria. Each day we've heard reports she's on the mend, getting stronger and stronger; then yesterday, we learnt that Derek was moving in with her - albeit for a month or so. Now, well lads and ladette's, Cheryl has left her house for the first time *woops*
Miss Tweedy, accompanied by a driver, made the trip to a service station off the A3 where she went to buy a Starbucks Frappuccino. Creature comforts I suppose; but personally, I'd be hitting the nearest Maccy D's for a large quarter pounder meal, yum! According to onlookers, the singer smiled at everyone she saw, gave a few waves, spoke to the manager and staff at the coffee shop (not just to order, she actually engaged in conversation), put money in a charity box, then off she went. Unfortunately, WENN weren't on the ball so we don't have pictures of her outing, however, The Sun kindly have a few snaps and she looks pretty good to me.
So, Cherdyl is up and about but, it's time to bid adieu to the Derry darling that is Nadine Coyle. After months/years of speculating on her position within the band, it now appears that Girls Aloud will reunite next year, minus Ms Coyle. Since she moved to LA in 2006, Nadine has been flying back and forth to the UK and has been trying to keep up her band commitments, but reports began surfacing that Kimberly, Sarah, Nicola and Cheryl had grown apart from Nadine. She had set up camp in the US after she fell in love with Jesse Metcalf (which didn't last long) and has set up a bar which is run by her family.
A source close to the band had the following to utter; "It's been a painful decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Cheryl but they have decided tat the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine (so she practically got the boot, is what you're saying?). They've all been on a rollercoaster ride since 2002 and have grown apart from Nadine. Relations with her had been strained within the camp for a while. Disputes have been cropping up.....the four remaining girls want to return on their own terms and avoiding any squabbles is a high priority. That's why they have decided to go on without Nadine."
There is still no official word from the GA camp, so only time will tell if this source is credible. I wonder will this speed up that solo album she's been working on for the last 10 million years?
