We've been waiting a damn long time for this, but it's finally here - Heist Mode is now available on Grand Theft Auto Online.
Initially announced alongside the game's launch, Heist Mode will allow you to team up with fellow players to take on pre-determined heists in a multiplayer environment.
Similar to the single player campaign, Heist Mode will see you complete several smaller jobs before the big pay-off. The mode allows for players to either act as a Heist Leader or as one of the players involved in the setup.
To be a Heist Leader, your character will need to be at Level 12 and have a high-end apartment. You'll also need a good bit of in-game cash as you'll have to front the cost for certain items needed for the heist.
If you don't fancy that, or if you haven't got the money, you can still join the Heist but you'll receive a flat payment from the Heist Leader. They, on the other hand, will get a much more significant piece of take.
To start a Heist, simply select Play Heist from the Quick Job menu. You'll receive a phone-call from Lester almost immediately to start off.
Let us know how you get on in the comments!
