One Direction star Harry Styles took a tube train to Elton John's London iTunes Festival gig last night, and didn't get mobbed which seems like an incredible stroke of luck.
The 19-year-old popstar joined passengers on the Northern Line branch of the London Underground to get to The Roundhouse venue in Camden where a 5,000 strong crowd filled the venue to watch Elton perform as part of the iTunes festival. One able-minded fan managed to take a sneaky pic of Styles after apparently helping him onto the train, saying:
I'd like 2 point out 2 @Harry_Styles (who I just helped on the tube) that I had a treatment on my hair (not grease!) pic.twitter.com/D5gnhWVyIA

Harry even got a shout out from Elton himself who shouted out: 'Thanks to the fabulous Harry Styles!' This was unfortunately then met with boos from Elton fans which the 66-year-old musician responded to by declaring his love for 1D, yelling: 'I love One Direction, f**k off.' Elton - who has two sons with his husband David Furnish - then added: 'And of course, my angel David.'
Harry was delighted to have the honour of meeting Elton after the show and took to his Twitter account, to say:

The star-studded crowd also included 'Star Trek Into Darkness' star Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry and Tom Odell.
