After all the hoo-haa during the past few weeks on whether or not Glee would be turfing some its main stars to the curb, co-creator Brad Falchuk confirmed that Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will be returning next season.

During a panel at Comic Con Falchuk spewed, "Here’s the exact thing: They’re seniors. They’re graduating. But that doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show," He added, "It was never our intention or plan to let these people go... They are not done with the show after this season.” He also dicussed the possibility of those three characters hitting New York and Broadway and attempting to make it in the bright lights of The Big Apple, but was "leaning against doing it." One of Glee's other showrunners, Ryan Murphy, had previously announced that the three stars would be leaving during an interview. At the time all three actors reacted with surprise, saying they had no idea that they wouldn't be returning. Some Hollywood insider types put the blame for the early announcement of the trio's departure on Murphy's ego, which is said to be considerable in size. Judging by how staggeringly self-indulgent Eat, Pray, Love was It's difficult to really argue with that.

I watched the first part of the first season of Glee - before the hype became too much - and enjoyed it. It may seem like an easy target now, but its heart was in the right place and it was a genuinely fun show. In saying that I've never gone back to it and those that did come on board initially seem to have given up. That hasn't stopped the studio Fox from making a film, Glee 3D: The Concert Movie, which premiered footage at Comic Con.
