Oh dear. Poor Sean Ward. Although it probably didn't come as that much of a surprise to anyone given he pulled out his menacing 'Callum' face from the audience when viewers watched Georgia and Giovanni gracefully gyrated against each other for weeks on end...

While this year's candidates for "they're TOTALLY going to become a couple for realz" Jay and Aliona were always stared lovingly into each other's eyes and snuggling up together during interviews, their fellow Strictly contestants Georgia and Giovanni always went to great pains to state they were "really good mates", and "more like brother and sister". Now it's come to light that there was allegedly more going on, with the dance partners and Strictly finalists reportedly spending New Years together in Disneyland Paris.

According to The Mirror: "The pair, whose red-hot chemistry on the dancefloor sparked rumours they were more than friends, were seen holding hands during a New Year trip to Disneyland Paris. In photos published today, the actress, 25, can be seen in a brown leather jacket, black beanie hat and skinny jeans as she strolls through the Disneyland park while holding hands with the hunk. Giovanni was equally as wrapped up for the trip in a short puffa jacket and dark jeans."

A source speaking via The Sun said the pair were spotted canoodling outside Magic Circus Hotel: "“They were definitely trying to keep a low profile, but seemed really besotted. I almost didn’t recognise Georgia when I saw her. But once I’d seen them both, it was a real surprise to see how much they were behaving like a couple. They were kissing in full view of lots of people. People definitely started to notice them in the hotel."

Seemingly Georgia split from her Corrie co-star (they're no longer in the soap, what with her character moving to Portugal and Callum Logan currently residing under the floor of Gail Platt's 'Grannex') two weeks ago. To be fair, they had only been dating for 8 months, meaning that she'd spent more time with Giovanni than Ward in their entire relationship.

Speaking out about the "offensive" rumours that herself and Giovanni were more than just dance partners back in November, Georgia said of her relationship with Sean: "He helps me switch off. He makes me tea and we sit and watch a bit of telly. He’s been great and of course I hope we’ll go for a nice holiday after this. Strictly kind of takes up your whole life."
