The London Collections: Men run of events closed with the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2015 show, and there was plenty to talk about afterwards.
The best dressed of the London stars, from Tinie Tempah to Davd Gandy were on hand to see a show that, like the Topman one earlier in the week, drew plenty of inspiration from the looks of the 1970s.
Shearling is clearly going to be a big trend both in the luxury brands and on the high street, as a number of jackets and outerwear featured it in this show, the full video of which you can watch below. The show was labeled Classically Bohemian by Christopher Bailey, Chief Creative and chief executive officer of Burberry, and that was certainly evident in both the bold patterns and the materials used by Bailey in the collection.
Scarves were front and centre, while paisley, leopard print and other patterns were a focus also, including some camouflage here and there too, which looks set to be a trend that carries over in to the next few seasons. The collection remained strongly masculine while drawing on some more unusually bright colours for the season too.
The classic Burberry scarf even got a bit of a twist, and looks better than ever.
The Bohemian vibe mentioned by Bailey was evident throughout, a mood that was assisted by the soundtrack of singer-songwriter Claire Maguire. You can watch the show in full below, and checkout the gallery of those who attended, dressed to the nines, also below.
