Busy weekend in lurve land.
Jared (the hottest) Followill got wed to Martha Patterson on Saturday. He was so excited he couldn't help sending this tweet: "Today, I get married. It's the biggest step I've ever taken. I've dreamed about this day since I was a little girl." He's the final member of the band to get married; Caleb, Nathan and Matthew have all got hitched in the last three years, and have kids or babies on the way.
Anne Hathaway tied the proverbial with Adam Shulman (details here), and Holly Valance married some billionaire called Nick Candy (details here). Congratulations to you, Holly *kiss, kiss*
But off all the nuptials taking place this weekend, we're most interested in the union between Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty. How does he do it? Engaged to Amanda Byram and now actually married to Cat Deeley. We're particularly impressed considering the repeated murmurings that Deeley swung for the other team. Kudos Casper Kielty (sorry, he looks like a ghost).
The couple - who went public with their relationship five months ago - exchanged vows in Rome this weekend in a small private ceremony attended by their close family and friends. The 35-year-old So You Think You Can Dance presenter walked up the aisle in a "stunning ruffled dress" with blooms in her hair.
"Northern Irish TV host" Patrick denied rumours he had popped the question to Cat last month but rumours continued to swirl after she was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger at a party before the Primetime Emmy Awards last weekend. The 41-year-old Kielty later attended the awards show with Cat, who was nominated for a gong in the reality TV category, and she tweeted a photo of them leaving the event with the caption: "Happily ever after".
The couple - who live together in a £1.7 million Beverly Hills mansion (congratulations Patrick) - confirmed their relationship in May after more than a decade of friendship but were first romantically linked in February after they holidayed together.
I'll leave you with some thoughts from Amy Adams regarding weddings.
