He's been hitting the weight room in his time away from football, and now former German international goalkeeper Tim Wiese looks set to make his debut with the WWE.
Having been released by his club Hoffenheim back in January, Tim Wiese has been in the gym and packed on some serious muscle, and now he's trying his hand at becoming a professional wrestler. The WWE became interested in signing him, as they were hoping to grow their presence in the German market, and while he's not yet been through the full training regime (which is pretty gruelling), he's set to make an appearance in the ring this week.

German paper Bild are reporting that the former pro-footballer will appear at a WWE event in Frankfurt on Saturday, and while he's not expected to wrestle, they will have him appear in some capacity, probably as a "teaser", to give the audience an idea what it would be like to have a big German star ion the organisation. He certainly looks pumped enough to make the cut, anyway.
