Over the past week or so Piers Morgan and Harry Potter author JK Rowling have been engaging in an ongoing feud on twitter.
In response to Morgan declaring he'd never read a word of the series (despite his son Spencer having a Potter inspired tattoo), a London book store began tweeting Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at him word for word.
Well this is awkward @piersmorgan @jk_rowling pic.twitter.com/OHhkj8TWlM

These tweets have obviously been getting to Piers, so he tweeted at 50 Shades author EL James asking her to post some quotes from her work instead.
Hi @E_L_James, any chance you could start tweeting me one of your books? I need some relief from this Harry Potter crap.

James obliged with this gem:
@piersmorgan 'I believed that the more exposure I got in the press, the better my career would progress. Trouble was, I became overexposed'

And then revealed that it was a quote from the Gilderoy Lockhart, a character in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
@piersmorgan Gilderoy Lockhart, from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Well played EL. Maybe it's time for Piers to take a little break from social media, it really hasn't been going well for him recently.
