You know Google Images, that's a handy thing isn't it?
Just type in the name of a person, and a bunch of images of their face will pop up. There are so many possible uses for it. Well, actually there's one main use, to see if the person you're thinking of has the name you think they do.
This would be particularly handy for people publishing interviews or articles, just to make sure they don't confuse famous people with similar names or faces. Obviously nobody told FHM about it, as they published an interview with Jason Byrne but mistakenly used Ed Byrne's names in the piece, and his face for the piece's main image.
Irish comedians, sure don;t they all look the same?
I didn't do this interview. Clearly you interviewed @thejasonbyrne and got confused. #JournalismFail https://t.co/9u41uH6d01

Not to worry though, they simply did what any publication would. Immediately apologise, hope that the offended party would see the funny side, then wait for the internet to have its 15 minutes of fun before you quietly sweep it under the rug. Oh wait...
@MrEdByrne looks like you to us. From the Dec 2012 issue of the magazine... pic.twitter.com/9bBlMvVjDU

That's right, forget the sensible thing, just have a go back at them, while simultaneously questioning their identity and highlighting more mistakes you've made in the past. Impressive stuff.
.@FHM It looks like me because you dolts put my name and my photo on it. I didn't give you the interview. I'm not ginger!

.@FHM If you don't believe me, and it appears you don't, just ask @thejasonbyrne

Jason Byrne actually did decide to chime in.
Totally hilarious Ed. Next they'll be doing a piece on my house in Essex! https://t.co/PCKpZ5lEhW

Looks like this isn't the first time something like this has happened either.

Ah sure, don't we all make mistakes? Yes, of course, but then we acknowledge them. Still, I doubt either of the lads take offense to being called one another, apart from the ginger hair seemingly. If you want to have a read of the actual interview, too bad, it's been taken down. But take our word for it, or Jason's word. Or was it Ed's? No, wait, it was Jason's words with Ed's face, we think.
