Reports coming in from blogs in the US (which, let's face it, are not the most reputable sources) are claiming that Ferris Bueller has done the dirt on Carrie Bradshaw. Yes, everyone's favourite Upper East Side New York socialite with a penchant for typing rhetorical questions into her laptop is being cheated on by that awkward scientist guy from Godzilla. Sarah Jessica Parker's hubby Matthew Broderick was reportedly seen talking to a redhead in trendy bar recently. In tabloid terms, this means he's definitely cheating on her. Details are sketchy but so far we have discovered that this woman is 25 years old and works as a youth counsellor and that the pair have been, wait for it, sending each other text messages. That scoundrel! While I can't possibly fathom how a tabloid magazine called "Star" would get a hold of Broderick's private text messages, it seems that all it takes to be linked to someone in the press is to basically be in close proximity to someone else and be famous and/or attractive. I must have missed the reports linking me to Cate Blanchett after that one time when I stood behind her in a queue for lunch then.. Hopefully there ain't a shred of truth in this, Matty Broderick seems like a good guy. Save Ferris! - JB
