Hubbah, hubbah, Ms. Huberman, talk about getting it spot on. Who needs to go 'sharsies' on the host's tiara when you're wearing something as glorious as this. Yes, we're going a bit overboard, but who isn't a sucker for form fitting vintage lace.
Thanks @folkster_com for the frock! Liz wasn't up for tiara sharsies unfort pic.twitter.com/dqI45YOZ8h

As for the tiara bants, well, they took a typically hilarious turn
@amyhuberman "Philip, here's that Huberman one again - she keeps trying to tell me she just wants to hug my tiara with her head."

More details regarding the dress itself come via the Facebook page for Folkster's vintage store in Kilkenny, Shutterbug:
"We are absolutely THRILLED that Amy Huberman wore one of our gowns to tonight's Windsor Castle State Banquet! (We can't even believe we just got to write that sentence...) She wore the elegant 'SAGE' gown - a vintage-inspired contemporary lace dress (€295) with embellishment, which is part of the 'Folkster Edit' range. (Now available on pre-order in all sizes)... Thank you SO much to Amy - she continues to be an incredible supporter of our little store here in Kilkenny, and we are all just so proud in our little Shutterbug/Folkster family. x Blanaid, Paula, Sinead, Alice, Roisin, Kay, Gabriella & Eoin."
Dresses aside, the weight of last night's occasion and what it signifies for both of our islands was not entirely lost on us.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I won't be looking up Folkster.com for something suitable for a wedding for the next 10 minutes or so.
