If you were one of the seemingly thousands of people left disappointed by the tickets to UFC Dublin selling out in record team fear not - we've learned that an extra batch of tix will be on sale tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 10am sharp.
The initial batch of tickets were gone in a flash for the event to be headlined by hometown fighter Conor McGregor against Brazilian rival Diego Brandao on the card which will also feature Irish fighters Cathal Pendred and Neil Seery.
The UFC today explained that they accommodated more seats for the event by re-configuring the seating setup which should go a long way to ensuring that UFC Fight Night Dublin shatters the record they set back in 2009 for attendance and box office sales.
Garry Cook, UFC Executive Vice President, said: "We’re ecstatic that this event has captured people’s imagination like it has and sold out in its original plan. The level of support is unbelievable and The O2 will have a blistering atmosphere from the very first horn. UFC Fight Night Dublin is already the most successful UFC event ever in Europe, and we are already planning more events throughout this year and into 2015."
Tickets will be available from www.ticketmaster.ie but be snappy because they'll be gone in a heartbeat.
In other UFC Dublin news, the official weigh in for the event will be open to the public on Friday 18th July. You can see the full event on Setanta and 3e (part of the TV3 network). The prelim card will be shown live exclusively on UFC Fight Pass, fans can sign up to Fightpass.com to receive a free 7 day trial.
