Edward Furlong has been arrested for a third time on suspicion of domestic abuse.
The actor - best known for his role as John Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day - was detained by police officers in Los Angeles on early Sunday morning (13.01.13) at 5.45am PST after an alleged incident of domestic violence towards his girlfriend, according to TMZ.
At the time of the incident, the actor also had an outstanding $30,000 warrant for his arrest stemming from a prior abuse incident.
Edward, who's now 37, has struggled with alcoholism and drug abuse in the past, and had many stints in rehab. He's currently said to still be in police custody, with a bail bond set at $50,000, reports E! News.
He will appear before a judge at the Beverly Hills Courthouse later today (15.01.13) at 8.30am local time.
The American History X star was previously arrested in October 2012 after allegedly getting physical with his girlfriend during an argument at LAX Airport in Los Angeles. He was again arrested in November for supposedly inflicting 'corporal injury' on the unnamed woman.
As well as legal troubles with his girlfriend, Edward's ex-wife Rachael Kneeland was granted a court mandate stipulating that the actor could only have supervised visits with the couple's six-year-old son, Ethan, in November 2012. Mainly because Ethan tested positive for cocaine after being in his father's care.
