It goes without saying that Hallowe'en night is Dublin Fire Brigade's busiest night of the year, but this year, there was a little something different about it.
The Fire Brigade's Twitter account, @DubFireBrigade, went active and began live-tweeting its calls and posting pictures from them as they happened.

It really does show what firefighters put themselves through and how difficult their jobs are, especially when they're obstructed in doing so. It wasn't just all bonfires, however.
Everyday routine calls don't stop today. We are at a kitchen fire in Clonsilla. 1 pump. No injuries. #dfblive

If you know any firefighters, buy them a pint later tonight because they deserve it.
