"When it’s a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem."

Wax museums are a bizarre tourist attraction, when you think about it.

You're basically walking around a big room with dummies that very often look nothing like the famous people they're meant to represent. In fact, most wax museums seem to be solely for the benefit of late-night talk shows, who use them for hidden camera skits with real-life famous people.

Still, they're obviously a thriving business in some parts of the world. In fact, a wax museum in the US had to remove a statue of former President Donald Trump as too many people were attacking it.

Clay Stewart, who is the regional manager for Ripley Entertainment which owns and operates the Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Alamo, Texas explained the situation to the San Antonio Express-News. "When it's a highly political figure, attacks can be a problem."

The statue is now currently in storage, with no word yet if it's going to be brought up again if and when Donald Trump tries to run for re-election. That said, there's probably a very decent side-business here. How much would you pay to beat the ever-loving shit out of a wax figure of Donald Trump?

Probably more than the price of admission for a wax museum, that's for sure.
