So according to Digital Spy, Davina McCall and Holly Willoughby are battling it out to fill Fern Britton's *coughs* large, shoes on This Morning. We've heard that Philip has been canvassing for Holly to become his co-host since Fern dropped that unfortunate bombshell on us *wipes eyes* but according to sources, ITV have added Davina to the long list of candidates and say that "There are good reasons for having either of them- they appeal in different ways....they know it's a good job"
Others include Fiona Philips and Mel Sykes.
I would say happy Holly would be a great partner in crime for Schofield, since they already present Dancing On Ice together and no one can disagree that she is the best part of the X-Factor (apart from the scrumcious Dermot O'Leary *drools*). Now, Davina on the other hand could spice things up a little and it's safe to say that we do need to see her over excited gasping on the telly more often. But one thing is for sure that the wardrobe department in ITV would need to add some colour to her attire. If we are to be greeted every morning by a black ensemble, one would think we would be a little somber for the day. Another question is that would she depart from Channel 4 easliy or would a hefty pay packet need to tempt her?
My money's on Holly.
