In the fickle world of showbiz and celebrity, you don't always know what to believe or who to trust.
So when actor David Harbour - aka Hopper from 'Stranger Things' - says he'll do something for a random Twitter user if they get a certain number of retweets, you can take it with a pinch of salt.
However, it seems that Harbour is a man of his word, as he's now followed through on two promises made to fans on the social media platform.
The first was appearing in a young fan's yearbook photo earlier this year:
.@DavidKHarbour how many retweets for you take my senior photos with me

25k. And I get to wear the school sweatshirt and hold a trombone. https://t.co/xPNEE681J4

The most recent one was
officiating at a fan's wedding
- in full Chief Hopper costume, no less - which took place at the weekend in Illinois:
125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes https://t.co/rSku8qD7uT

Hey internet. I know it’s been awhile. I retreated. Needed some space. You probably get it. But I’ve been thinking about ya in the interim. And all your retweets. And so me and some fun folks in Springfield, Illinois made good on our promise we made all those months ago. pic.twitter.com/fZK8zNMQSi

Earlier this year, he also got Greenpeace to bring him on an expedition to the Antarctic to see some penguins...
Internet, listen...
I’m a giver. I give and I give.
But now I need you.
I need 200k retweets to go dance with penguins.
Please internet.
Please retweet THIS TWEET.
Please.
