We all know that Dannii Minogue is "up the Damien" and that X Factor auditions will be starting during the summer, which is in or around the time Dannii is due to give birth (July to be exact). Now the question on everyone's lips is if she will actually return for the new series. As we speak, she is in talks with Simon Cowell's production company *cue dramatic music* and it's anyone's guess how it will go. But, let's be honest, she gained a lot more fans during the last series and with the fact that we all want to see how glamorous and blooming she'll be, the shows ratings will only soar, which in turn will make Simon more money which means that Dannii had that X Factor/money maker he's been so desperately trying to find for the past few years.
What if the Australian says yes to the auditions and no to the live shows, what will Simon do? The word on the street is that he could give her a hefty cheque as a parting gift, which will of course help to buy a few essentials, or he may decide instead to cut her salary by £300,000, or that Kylie could possibly take her sisters place. Hey presto, Team Dannii is still in play.
An X Factor source has said "This meeting is the first step to get Dannii back on the show. If a solution can be worked out she will be here again at the live stages... we are very, very keen to have her back". But, then again, being a famous working mom is all the rage these days, so baby daddy Kris Smith could always sit in on a Saturday night and babysit while Dannii does her thang and then she could employ a nanny to help her during the week.
