The actor turned himself in to police, but maintains his innocence
He found himself in hot water a couple of years ago after lifting his co-star Sarah Paulson's skirt on stage - but Cuba Gooding Jr. faces a more serious charge with his latest alleged indiscretion.
The actor handed himself over to police in New York after a 29-year-old woman accused him of groping her breast at a rooftop bar in the city on June 9th.
The 'Jerry Maguire' star said that he had video evidence to prove his innocence and would be voluntarily turning himself in.
Deadline say that he has been charged with 'forcible touching' and was pictured smiling in handcuffs as police took him on a perp walk.
His lawyer Mark Heller dismissed allegations from a second woman, who said that Gooding grabbed her buttocks at a restaurant in New York in 2008. "There is no pattern of conduct," he said. "It is not uncommon for people to come out of the woodwork when these things happen."
