Perry's 'Friends' co-star says she often speaks to him
It was one of the most tragic celebrity deaths of last year, considering how beloved an actor - and character - Matthew Perry was.
The 'Friends' actor died at the age of 54 from the acute effects of anaesthetic ketamine, and since then his close-knit former co-stars have paid tribute to him in their own way.
However, Courteney Cox, who played his on-screen wife Monica on 'Friends', has spoken about their special bond in a new interview - and revealed that she can often feel his spirit 'visiting' her.
She told CBS Morning Breakfast that for the decade spent on 'Friends', her five co-stars were "family".
"I think he’s one of the funniest human beings in the world," she said of Perry. "He’s just so funny. He’s genuinely [got] a huge heart. [He] obviously struggled."
She added that she was "so thankful" that she "got to work so closely with him for so many years".
"He visits me a lot, if we believe in that," she added. "I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that are… I think they guide us."
She added: "He's around, for sure."
