"Equality means starting to objectify men more." Hear, hear.
During an interview with Radio 4 (via Vanity Fair), the actor had this to say regarding the ongoing objectification of women in society: "I think it’s appalling that for a long time only women were objectified, but I think if we really want to advocate for equality, it’s important to even things out."
And how would you go about getting Hollywood to agree to that, Chris? "Not objectify women less, but objectify men just as often as we objectify women."
That sounds doable. Not to mention agreeable
Chris Pratt first made his ways into our hearts playing Rashida Jones' boyfriend on Parks and Recreation. As Andy, he was quite the go-getter - when he wasn't glued to her couch. Or stalking her from the pile of dirt outside her house. Then he got buff for Guardians of the Galaxy and everything changed.
How heavy was Chris Pratt before he decided to turn it around an become insanely buff? https://t.co/6IlFioHotE pic.twitter.com/RHO9Bq8bt0

Speaking of his new physique, and how it was a game changer, he added: "It was a huge part of how my career has shifted is based on the way that I look, on the way that I’ve shaped my body to look... There are a lot of women who got careers out of [their bodies], and I’m using it to my advantage. And at the end of the day, our bodies are objects... We’re just big bags of flesh and blood and meat and organs that God gives us to drive around."
We've never wanted him more.
