In this instance, Charlie Sheen was nowhere near 'as happy as a clam'... In fact, a load of happy clams made his stomach severely upset, to the point of hospitalisation. Yep, he got food poisoning, as opposed to his 'tiger blood' reaching noxious levels of 'winning.'

Speaking of Sheen's recent stint in hospital, his long-suffering spokesperson Jeffrey Ballard said: "It was clams, bad clams. Nothing too exciting."

Us Magazine reports that Sheen "had a seafood dinner delivered to his house and after becoming ill, he went to the hospital 'just to be on the safe side,' Ballard explained.
'They checked him out, hydrated him and sent him on his way,' Sheen’s publicist told Us. 'He was back home in bed 90 minutes later'."

Somewhere, Chuck Lorre is taking 5 seconds to smile and mumble something about Karma. 

Recalling his 2011 meltdown and being, eh, let go from Two and a Half Men, Charlie said: "Yeah, I should have been a little more humble, more regretful, shouldn’t have attacked them like I did and I probably should have begged for my job back... Beg is a color I don’t wear well, I probably should have requested my job back…I think that what went down was fixable and I made it irreparable."
