If you didn't already think that Carrie Fisher was a total badass, the story below might change your mind.
The much-missed actress passed away last year but her memory is being very much kept alive by her fans and friends - including screenwriter Heather Ross, who told a great story about her on a Tucson, Arizona radio station the other day.
Ross, who was friends with Fisher for many years, was taking part in a discussion about Harvey Weinstein and sexual harassment in the film industry when she shared her own experience - revealing that another unnamed producer had once picked her up for a business dinner. However, things turned nasty when he pinned her against the car seat and held her down.
When she told Fisher what had happened, she responded exactly the way you might expect Carrie Fisher to respond.
"About two weeks later, she sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios," said Ross. "I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow.
“I asked her what was inside and she said, ‘It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli in Westwood with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box!”.
That's what you call a true friend.
