Not to say that having to catch a Dublin Bus is hell but...
We can safely file this under "WTF?"
'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' will always remain with us as the reason why we never got into the 'Twilight' franchise. Vampires are for killing, not for watching them fall in love.
Anyway, a clever Redditor has found a brand new Easter Egg hidden in the beloved series. That's right, 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' has an Irish connection - and one that's about Dublin Bus of all things.
Have a look at the screenshot below, if you don't believe us. It features a hefty paragraph, all As Gaeilge, paired together with some satanic symbols for good measure.
The Irish in an Episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a story about new bus lane opening in Dublin. from r/ireland
The discovery quickly made it's way onto Twitter too.

And the reaction, it goes without saying, has been off-the-wall hilarious.
Those dark symbols are required to accurately summon the next departures on a bus app that is determined my stop doesn't actually exist

It seems the episode aired in 1999, and was entitled 'Fear, Itself.' If true, it was the fourth episode of season four of 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer.'
Not quite. This episode (“Fear Itself”) aired in 1999. The news service Tuairisc was founded only in 2014. This is just the common noun that means “report, account”.

And so, the jokes started rolling in.
In fairness, there is an amount of black magic needed for any road work in Dublin...

Yeah but if you could only turn the page you'll realise it's a demonic bus lane

“I am the Dark Lord of nightmares, the bringer of terror... Tremble before me! Fear me!”
―Gachnarsounds like Dublin Bus all right

You know Dublin Bus is in dire straits when they need to turn to witchcraft to keep routes running ???

We'll never forget that time Angel gifts Buffy a Claddagh Ring (complete with terrible pronunciation).
